Trent Share Price Jumps Nearly 7% After Q2 FY27 Results; Net Profit Rises 25%; Zudio Crosses 1,000 Stores

Trent shares became the biggest gainers in the stock market on Friday, October 30, after the Tata Group-owned retail company reported a strong performance for the September quarter i.e Q2 FY27.

The stock surged nearly 7% in early trade on the NSE after the company reported a 25% YoY rise in consolidated net profit and a 22% growth in revenue.

The company's operating performance also improved during the quarter, with EBITDA rising 37% and operating EBIT margin expanding to 11.6%. Apart from that, Trent's popular value-fashion brand Zudio has crossed the 1,000-store.

Trent Share Price Performance Today

Trent shares opened with gains Friday and climbed to an intraday high of Rs. 3,060 on the NSE, surging by 6.92%. The stock was trading at around Rs.3,036.50, up 6.11%, at approximately 11 AM. while Sensex gained just 0.12% around the same time.

The company had closed Thursday's trading session at Rs. 2,861.70, before announcing its September quarter results after market hours.

Trent Q2 FY27 Results Highlights

Trent reported a consolidated net profit of Rs. 468.09 crore for Q2 FY27, compared with Rs. 373.42 crore in the corresponding quarter last year increasing by 25.3%.

Revenue from operations increased 21.9% to Rs. 5,873.14 crore in the September quarter, against Rs. 4,817.68 crore in Q2 FY26.

Trent Q2 Analysis and Share Price Target

HSBC in its latest report has raised its target price to Rs. 3,480 from Rs. 3,390 and maintained its Buy rating, expecting H2FY27 growth momentum to continue, led by Westside and Zudio expansion. It also raised its FY27 EBITDA estimates by 7% and FY28-29 estimates by 2-3%, with stronger Westside growth offsetting weaker Zudio forecasts.
