Donald Trump is going to be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States on January 20th. His inauguration has attracted an assembly of prominent CEOs, business leaders, and global figures to be a part of the ceremony. The inauguration ceremony was originally scheduled outdoors, but the event has been relocated indoors due to weather conditions. The inauguration ceremony at the U.S. Capitol will be attended by members of the Trump family, including Melania Trump, the First Lady, alongside their children and grandchildren.
Top Tech and Business Leaders at the Inauguration
Several top CEOs from the tech and entrepreneurial sectors are in attendance. Among the most notable is Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX. Musk has been extremely supportive of the Trump administration's pro-business stance. He has recently been appointed to lead the newly established Department of Government Efficiency. Also in attendance are Tim Cook, CEO of Apple; Mark Zuckerberg, Founder and CEO of Meta (formerly Facebook); and Jeff Bezos, Founder of Amazon. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Uber Technologies Inc. CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai are reportedly set to attend the swearing-in ceremony on January 20. Another notable attendee is Shou Chew, the CEO of TikTok, which has had its share of regulatory scrutiny under previous administrations.

International Diplomats and Global Leaders
Several international leaders are also expected to join the ceremony, due to the global significance of Trump's inauguration.
S. Jaishankar, the External Affairs Minister of India, is going to attend the function to represent India, highlighting the growing diplomatic engagement between the U.S. and India.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is expected to attend the ceremony due to the strong economic relationship between Italy and the U.S.
El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele, Argentinian President Javier Milei, and finally Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya
This ceremony is also unique as former U.S. presidents are attending the inauguration, including outgoing President Joe Biden. Despite the political friction between the two leaders, Biden's attendance signifies the continuity of democratic traditions in the United States.
A Star-Studded Event with Musical Performances
As part of the inauguration festivities, Grammy-award-winning artist Carrie Underwood is set to perform, bringing a sense of national pride to the occasion. The Village People, known for their iconic hits, will also take the stage, making it a day filled with both political significance and entertainment.
