Twitter Is Down: How Grok & Cloudflare Outage Pushed Elon Musk's X In Mass Glitch? A Bit-By-Bit Update

Elon Musk's X, formerly known as Twitter, is down for the second time this week. The social media platform faced huge glitches after mass disruption recorded in Grok and Cloudflare. Users in countries like India, Japan and USA among others complained facing issues while using the X app.

Cloudflare & Grok Outage:

Most of the users faced difficulty in using Cloudflare website, although it claims to protect websites and networks. Users complained that their login would not go through on the Cloudflare website. The issue was mostly related to web server. However, reports also said that the Cloudflare glitch could likely to be originated with malfunction in X.

Then came Grok, an AI took backed by Elon Musk. Downtector showed that Grok was down during the time of X outage. Many users complained that they could access Grok, however, the platform failed in responses. The AI app kept showcasing error messages like heavy load or no response.

X Is Down?

As per Downdector, users reported problems in using X. By 8.39 pm, there were 3,728 complaints on using X in India. 55% of the complaints belonged to glitches in using X app, while 36% complained related to issues on website and 9% had feed timeline issues.

At 10 am EST, reports surged to nearly 185,000 in the United States, while Japan witnessed about 129,406 complaints. Cities like Tokyo, New York City, Osaka, Chicago, and Yokohama were among the impacted.

At 3 pm UK time, about 20,000 users faced problems, and of these, 37% of the complaints were related to using X website.

Users are still facing issues in signing up to both X apps and browsers. While some faced glitches in Cloudflare. Currently, Downtector confirms both the platforms are down.
