UAE to India Flights Services Resume: Check Air India, IndiGo Flights Status Today; List of Special Flights

Flight services between India and the United Arab Emirates are gradually resuming after recent disruptions across Middle East routes. Airlines including Air India and Air India Express are adding special flights, while IndiGo has issued travel advisories to help stranded passengers and maintain essential connectivity between the two countries.

Air travel between India and the UAE remains partially disrupted, prompting airlines to take additional measures to assist stranded passengers. In response to the situation, Air India and Air India Express have announced 32 additional non-scheduled flights between India and the UAE on March 9 to help travellers whose journeys were affected by widespread flight cancellations across the region.

Air India Adds Special Services to Dubai

According to a statement issued on Saturday, Air India will operate 10 additional non-scheduled flights to and from Dubai. These include three round-trip flights from Mumbai and two round-trip flights from Delhi.

These special services are part of the airline group's efforts to bring stranded travellers back home and ease travel disruptions between India and the Gulf region.

Air India Express Expands Operations Across UAE Airports

Meanwhile, Air India Express will operate one round-trip flight each between Dubai and Mumbai and between Dubai and Bengaluru.

In addition, the airline has scheduled several special services connecting other UAE airports with major Indian cities.

Flexible Rebooking for Cancelled Flight Tickets

Air India Express has allowed passengers with cancelled bookings to rebook their tickets from any UAE airport to any destination in India without additional charges.

However, despite the expansion of services to the UAE, the Air India group confirmed that scheduled flights to several other Middle Eastern destinations remain suspended until March 13.

These include routes to:

• Dammam
• Doha
• Kuwait City
• Riyadh

IndiGo Travel Advisory for Gulf Routes

Low-cost carrier IndiGo has also issued a travel advisory stating that flights will continue to operate to eight destinations in the Middle East. The airline noted that these routes remain crucial for thousands of passengers, particularly Indian expatriates and business travellers based in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman.

On March 9, 2026, Flight EY843 will operate between Abu Dhabi and Moscow (Sheremetyevo Airport), departing at 14:00 and arriving at 21:00.

Flight EY83 will depart Abu Dhabi for Rome (Fiumicino Airport) at 14:10, arriving at 18:40.

Flight EY33 will operate from Abu Dhabi to Paris Charles de Gaulle, departing at 14:20 and arriving at 19:50.

Flight EY141 will depart Abu Dhabi for Zurich at 14:40, arriving at 19:50.

Flight EY218 will operate from Abu Dhabi to Delhi, departing at 18:00 and arriving at 22:50.
