UIDAI Allowed Free Aadhaar Updation For Limited Period, Know Details
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) of India has recently given great relief to Aadhaar card holders. The UIDAI has made document update facility online for Aadhaar free till June 14, starting from March 15, 2023, an official statement said on Wednesday.

If the holder gets half the card updated at the physical counter, then he will have to pay Rs 50. UIDAI further said that Aadhaar holders will get this facility only for three months. Holders can update their Aadhaar card online free of cost from March 15, 2023, to June 14, 2023.
Giving information, UIDAI said that from now on no money will have to be paid for updating Aadhaar. UIDAI has abolished the fees for updating their Aadhaar, but people will get this facility only after updating their Aadhaar card online.
With this limited period of free Aadhaar updation, now you can update your Aadhaar free online. With this, the last date to link an Aadhaar card with the PAN card is till March 31, 2023. Those people who have not made any changes to their Aadhaar card for the last 10 years should update their Aadhaar card.
As per Aadhaar Enrolment and Update Regulations, 2016, Aadhaar number holders may, on completion of every 10 years from the date of enrolment for Aadhaar, update their supporting documents in Aadhaar, at least once, by submitting proof of identity (POI) and proof of address (POA) documents, so as to ensure the continued accuracy of their information.
