Unanimous Decision At MPC To Hold Interest Rates Steady
The decision to hold interest rates steady was a unanimous decision by the Monetary Policy Committee.
Dr. Chetan Ghate, Dr. Pami Dua, Dr. Ravindra H. Dholakia, Dr. Janak Raj, Dr. Michael Debabrata Patra and Shri Shaktikanta Das voted in favour of the decision. 27.
The minutes of the MPC's meeting will be published by February 20, 2020. 28. The next meeting of the MPC is scheduled during March 31, April 1 and 3, 20220.
Meanwhile, the stock markets were trading higher led by gains in Zee Entertainment and Yes Bank. The Sensex was trading higher by 210 points, while the Nifty gained 61 points in trade.
