Aerospace supply agreement: Unimech to make precision components and flying parts for FACC
Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing has signed a long-term supply agreement with FACC Operations GmbH to manufacture and supply precision-engineered aerospace components and flying parts. The mandate followed a competitive global sourcing process and multi-year technical and quality reviews. Unimech will enter qualification and industrialisation phases before transitioning into serial production.
Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing announced a long-term supply agreement with FACC Operations GmbH. The deal covers making and supplying precision-engineered aerospace components and flying parts. Unimech said it won the mandate after a global sourcing process. The process included international suppliers and multiple competitive stages.

The company said the agreement ended a multi-year engagement with FACC Operations GmbH. Unimech described technical evaluations and capability checks during this period. It also cited quality reviews, commercial negotiations, and detailed discussions. Unimech said these steps happened before the formal signing.

Unimech said the award was based on engineering expertise and manufacturing capability. The company also pointed to its quality systems and delivery capacity. "This agreement reflects the confidence global aerospace customers place in our engineering, manufacturing, quality and delivery capabilities,\" said Anil Kumar Puttan, Chairman and Managing Director, Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited. The company said Unimech planned close work with FACC during upcoming stages.
Unimech Aerospace qualification and industrialisation phase
Over the coming quarters, Unimech will enter a qualification and industrialisation phase. The company said the work will include first article approvals and process validations. It will also involve production readiness activities before serial production begins. Unimech said these steps will confirm consistent output for aerospace programmes.
Unimech said the agreement fits its strategy to expand the precision components and parts business. The company said it aimed to join more long-term aerospace production programmes. It also said the deal would strengthen its place in the global aerospace supply chain. Unimech did not share financial terms.

Unimech said the sourcing process involved international suppliers competing for the mandate.
The companies said the partnership will progress through defined approval steps before full-scale output. Unimech said it would work with FACC Operations GmbH during qualification activities. The company said serial production would start after readiness checks. Unimech said the agreement supported long-term participation in global aerospace programmes.
