The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has finally declared the results of the intermediate exam, aka Class 12th, on April 25, 2025. This year, the passing percentage stood at 81.15% of the total of 2,698,446 students that appeared for the 12th exam in UP. The minimum requirement for passing is 33%. At the top rank is Mahak Jaiswal from Prayagraj, while four students share the second position. The top three ranks passing percentage ranges from 96.40% to the highest, 97.20%.
UP Board 12th Result 2025: Toppers List
Rank 1: Mahak Jaiswal from Prayagraj has topped the UP board 12th result with a 97.20% passing percentage.
Rank 2: Four students have bagged the second position with 96.80% passing marks in the 12th board. These are Sakshi from Gajraula, Amroha; Adrash Yadav from Sultanpur; Shivani from Prayagraj; and Anushka Singh from Kushambi.
Rank 3: At the third rank, with 96.40% Mohini from Etawah.
UP Board 12th Result Toppers List Of Previous Year:
However, it needs to be noted that compared to last year, the intermediate result of 2025 has witnessed a lower passing percentage. In 2024, the passing percentage stood at 77.78% among boys and 88.42% among girls. The topper of 12th results in 2024, Shubham Verma had bagged slightly higher percentage of 97.80% with 489 marks out of 500.
Notably, the second topper list was shared by six students Vishu Chaudhary, Kajal Singh, Raj Verma, Kashish Maurya, Charli Gupta, and Sujata Pandey. These six students had 97.60% with 488 marks out of 500 in 2024.
The third rank itself was shared by three students in 2024, namely Sheetal Verma, Kashish Yadav, and Aaditya Kumar Yadav with 97.40%, which reads as 487 marks out of 500.
UP Board Class 12th Result:
This year, 54,38,597 candidates had applied for the UP Board High School and Intermediate Examination. For 12th class, 26,98,446 students appeared for the examinations.
Yogi Adityanath, the CM of Uttar Pradesh has congratulated the students of class 10th and 12th. Through his X handler, he said, "Hearty congratulations to all the brilliant students who have secured place in the merit list in the 10th and 12th class examinations of Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education!."
"All of you have achieved this success through your tireless hard work, discipline and determination. This achievement will make your parents and teachers proud," Adityanath added, "Best wishes to all of you for a bright future!"
He lastly said, UP government will honour all the state and district level toppers.
