The UP International Trade Show highlights trade opportunities and raises awareness on water conservation through engaging exhibitions, including the Jal Jeevan Mission. Visitors learn about Bundelkhand's transformation and the importance of conserving water.
The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025, held in hall number 7, is not just about trade and culture. It also focuses on global water conservation awareness. The Jal Jeevan Mission's Swachh Sujal Village exhibition is a key attraction, highlighting Bundelkhand's journey from past struggles to present achievements. This exhibit educates visitors on the importance of water conservation and simple actions that can make a difference.

Visitors are learning about the significance of every drop of water. Schoolchildren attending the event are pledging to conserve water. The exhibition spans approximately 496 square metres, showcasing Bundelkhand's transformation through the Jal Jeevan Mission. It features immersive photo galleries that highlight the success of providing tap connections to rural homes and creating job opportunities for young people.
Interactive Experiences and Cultural Performances
The exhibition includes selfie points and gaming zones, attracting young visitors. Interactive games aim to raise awareness about conserving water. City children, including those from Noida, experience rural life by taking selfies with Bundelkhand-themed displays. Reena from Mahoba, now living in Noida, expressed joy at seeing transformation stories she had only heard over the phone come alive at the exhibition.
Shalu from Delhi mentioned that while she knew about water being transported by train to Bundelkhand, seeing models of old and new Bundelkhand made the Jal Jeevan Mission's impact tangible and inspiring. On Friday, traditional Bundelkhandi songs were performed, drawing large crowds and adding a cultural touch to the Swachh Sujal Village experience.
Educational Impact and Visitor Engagement
The exhibition effectively combines education with entertainment to engage visitors of all ages. By showcasing both historical and modern aspects of Bundelkhand, it provides a comprehensive view of the region's development under the Jal Jeevan Mission. This approach not only informs but also inspires visitors to consider their role in water conservation efforts.
The event successfully bridges urban and rural experiences, allowing city dwellers to connect with rural life through interactive displays. This connection fosters a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by regions like Bundelkhand and the solutions implemented through initiatives like the Jal Jeevan Mission.
The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025 serves as a platform for raising awareness about critical issues such as water conservation while celebrating cultural heritage. The Swachh Sujal Village exhibition stands out as a testament to progress and innovation in addressing environmental challenges.
