Upcoming Dividend Dhamaka: Maharatna PSU Stock In Focus Ahead of Dividend Record Date

Dividend Alert: Shares of Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) will remain in focus in the coming week ahead of the Maharatna PSU record date. The company's board of directors has approved the dividend for the financial year 2025-26.

PFC share price closed 0.26% lower at Rs 363 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 1,19,793.69 crore on Friday. The stock had touched an intraday high of Rs 364.60 per share and an intraday low of Rs 361.70 per share.

The company's board of directors had approved a 39.5% dividend for financial year 2025-26. The company will pay a "Final Dividend on' 3 .95/- per equity share on the face value of Rs I 0/- each on the equity shares of the Company for the FY 2025-26 as recommended by the Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on 13 May, 2026."

PFC Dividend Record Date

The Board has fixed Thursday, August 27 as the record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders for the payout. Earlier, the board had fixed July 31 as the record date. "It is to inform that 27.08.2026 (Thursday) shall be reckoned as the 'Record Date' for the purpose of ascertaining the eligibility of shareholders for payment of Interim Dividend for the FY 2026-27. The date of payment of the aforesaid interim dividend shall be on or before 06.09.2026."

PFC Share Price Trend

The stock had closed flat on Friday. Its share price hit its 52-week high of Rs 486.45 per share on April 28, 2025. The stock dipped to its 52-week low of Rs 330.05 per share on December 18, 2025. It has a return on equity (ROE) of 19.79%. Its share price value has declined 13% in two weeks, and around 15% in three months. THe stock value has dipped 9% in one year.
