Stock Market Outlook

Indian market ended higher on Friday, snapping their two weeks consecutive loosing run. Sensex ended 1,32% higher 84,562.78 points, whereas Nifty ended 1.45% higher at 25,910 points. The strong performance by Nifty and Sensex was driven by a range of factors, including corporate earnings, sector-wise strength, Bihar elections results, etc.

"Trading remained range-bound, with volumes thinning ahead of the weekend. The rupee's continued pressure near record lows kept sentiment cautious, though expectations of RBI support helped stabilise currency moves. Broader markets were mixed, with midcaps and smallcaps seeing mild profit-taking," explained Vikram Kasat, Head - Advisory, PL Capital.

"Heading into next week, the tone stays cautiously positive. Key support for Nifty lies around 25,750-25,800, while a breakout above 26,000 could push levels toward 26,200-26,500. Global rate expectations, currency trends and domestic macro data will be the main drivers," Kasat added.
