Upcoming Dividends: The Indian stock market will be buzzing with multiple corporate actions next week, like dividends, stock splits, bonus issue,s etc. Shares of Ashok Leyland, Emami, Page Industries, LTI Mindtree, etc will remain in focus as they will trade ex-dividend this week.

The ex-dividend date is fixed by a company when its share price is adjusted to reflect the next dividend payout. The date is also used to determine the eligibility of shareholders for the payment. When a stock becomes ex-dividend, it doesn't carry the value of its next dividend payment from that day forward.

An investor can become eligible for dividend payment by purchasing the dividend stocks on or before the record date so that their names appear on the company's list by the end of record date.

Odyssey Technologies

The company had announced a final dividend of Rs 1 per equity share with a face value of Rs 10 for the financial year 2024-25. The dividend payment will be made by the company within thirty days from the date of declaration, ie on or before 30 July, 2025.

Page Industries

Jockey manufacturer in India, Page Industries, has announced an interim dividend of Rs 200 per equity share with a face value of Rs 10 each, for its shareholders for the financial year 2024-25. The record date for Page Industries' dividend payment is Wednesday, May 21. The payment of dividends will be made on 13 June, 2025.

Ashok Leyland

The automaker will reward its eligible shareholders with a dividend of Rs 4.25 per equity share with a face value of Re 1 each. In the wake of the corporate action, the trading window to deal with securities of the company scrip is shut from 1 April till the expiry of 48 hours from the date of the audited financial results.

Emami Limited

FMCG major, Emami Limited, announced a 200% special dividend for its eligible shareholders last week. Emami shares will trade ex-dividend next week.

"The Record date for ascertaining the names of the members who will be entitled to receive the Interim Dividend is Thursday, 22nd May, 2025," read a BSE filing of Emami.

GM Breweries

Eligible shareholders of alcoholic beverages company, GM Breweries, will get a final dividend of Rs 7.5 per equity share. The company had announced a 75% dividend per equity share with a face value of Rs 10 each. GM Breweries dividend record date has been fixed as 22 May, 2025. The dividend payment will likely be made within a month of the announcement.

Havells India

Havells India last week declared a final dividend of Rs 6 per equity share with a face value of Re 1 each. The 600% dividend announced by the BSE-listed company will be paid to shareholders based on the record date, fixed as 25 May.

"The Board of Directors of the Company have proposed/ recommended, subject to approval of Members, a dividend @ 75o/o i.e. Rs.7,5/- per equity share of Rs.10 each," read a BSE filing by Havells India.

LTI Mindtree

IT giant, LTI Mindtree, has announced a final dividend of Rs 45 per equity share with a face value of Re 1 each. The company has fixed 23 May as the record date to identify the eligibility of shareholders.

Sula Vineyards

The Nashik-based winery has announced a final dividend of Rs 3.6 per equity share with a face value of Rs 2 each. The company has fixed 23 May as record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders for dividend payment.
