The US-India Business Council (USIBC) and the Karnataka Innovation And Technology Society (KITS) have joined forces to expand their collaboration in key industry sectors. The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on Wednesday, November 29, during the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) in Bangalore, India.

BTS Partnership Continues
This marks the second consecutive year of partnership between USIBC and the Government of Karnataka on BTS. The India-USA Tech Conclave, taking place on November 29 and 30 at Bangalore Palace, serves as a platform for influential leaders from both the government and industry to explore opportunities for increased collaboration, investment, and to address policy and regulatory issues.

The MoU between USIBC and KITS emphasizes collaboration in key industry sectors, with a particular focus on information technology, biotechnology, and electronics. The partnership aims to deepen engagement between the Government of Karnataka and USIBC to identify and address common challenges, facilitate collaboration between industries, and promote Karnataka as an attractive investment destination for American companies.

Karnataka's Minister for Information Technology and Biotechnology, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Priyank Kharge, participated in the conclave and highlighted the importance of the MoU. He stated that the partnership emphasizes deepening engagement between the Government of Karnataka and USIBC to identify and address common challenges, facilitate collaboration between industries, and promote Karnataka as an attractive investment destination for American companies.

BTS serves as a significant global hub fostering partnerships among technology companies, startups, venture capitalists, and research labs.
