US Stock Market Today LIVE: Dow Jones Futures Up But Nasdaq, S&P 500 Futures Fall Ahead Of Jackson Hole Speech
The US stock futures broadly traded mixed as investors prepare for US Federal Reserve's chair Kevin Warsh's speech at the Jackson Hole Wyoming, symposium on Friday. The Dow Jones futures are trading higher but the Nasdaq and S&P 500 futures are marginally lower on August 28, 2026. This comes after Wall Street witnessed a sharp buying trend overnight.
Apart from Jackson Hole speech, economic data like Chicago PMI, University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment, and Preliminary Benchmark Payrolls Revision will also be released on August 28.

While watch out for earnings of Hyperliquid Strategies Inc (PURR), and Hub Group (HUBG).
Market hopes to find the latest conditions of geopolitical risks in West Asia and its impact on US economy and interest rates trajectory ahead. Hence, Warsh's comment on economy, market and monetary policy will be observed.
Meanwhile, the 10-year US treasury yield is trading around 4.67% after surging for two consecutive sessions, while the 30-year treasury yield continued to be elevated at 5.2%, the highest level since 2007.
For the upcoming September meeting, markets are currently pricing in around a 65% chance that the Fed will keep rates unchanged. Meanwhile, Kansas City Fed President Jeff Schmid said monetary policy is not restraining the economy. Elsewhere, investors continued to assess the implications of the US Treasury's expanded debt buyback program, which heightened concerns about the risks of a US debt crisis and potential dollar weakness, as per Trading Economics.
On the other hand, US dollar remained firmer at 99.1 ahead of Warsh's speech.
