After securing this extraordinary win, the focus now shifts to the party's promises, which they made ahead of the election, will be fulfilled or not. Here is the ambitious 40-point manifesto that targets women, farmers, youth, and welfare beneficiaries.

Women-Centric Welfare Schemes

1. A big highlight of the TVK manifesto 2026 is its strong focus on women voters. The party has promised a monthly assistance of Rs.2,500 for homemakers to boost household income across Tamil Nadu.

2. In addition, TVK has proposed interest-free loans of up to Rs.5 lakh for women's self-help groups, along with marriage assistance that includes one sovereign of gold and a silk saree. Free bus travel for women on all government buses without restrictions has also been pledged.

3. The manifesto further introduces a "newborn kit" scheme, which includes essentials and even a gold ring for newborns to support families from day one.

Big Promises for Farmers

4. The TVK farmers scheme is another cornerstone of the manifesto. The party has promised annual investment assistance of Rs.15,000 for land-owning farmers, along with crop loan waivers to ease financial stress.

5. TVK has also proposed a Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rs.3,000 per quintal for paddy and Rs.4,500 per tonne for sugarcane. Additionally, 5 lakh solar pumps are planned to reduce dependence on conventional electricity.

6. A standout promise is free higher education for children of small and marginal farmers owning less than two acres of land.

Youth, Jobs & Education

7. The TVK jobs scheme 2026 emphasis on employment and skill development. Graduates above 29 years will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.4,000, while diploma holders will get Rs.2,000.

8. The party has proposed a law ensuring 75% reservation in jobs both private and public for Tamil people

9. Under the Vettri Skill Training Scheme, 5 lakh youth will be trained annually, with stipends of Rs.10,000 for graduates and Rs.8,000 for diploma/ITI holders. Additionally, TVK has promised collateral-free entrepreneurship loans up to Rs.25 lakh.

9. A major employment initiative includes 5 lakh jobs under the Chief Minister's People Service Associate scheme, offering a monthly salary of Rs.18,000.

10. On education, the manifesto promises 100 residential Kamarajar Special Schools, AI-powered coaching centres for competitive exams, and collateral-free education loans up to Rs.20 lakh.

Fishermen Welfare & Katchatheevu Issue

11. For coastal communities, the TVK fishermen scheme includes Rs.27,000 as lean-season relief, subsidised diesel, and accident insurance of Rs.25 lakh.

12. Notably, TVK has proposed India's first statutory MSP for fish. The party has also raised the politically sensitive issue of retrieving Katchatheevu, aiming to safeguard Tamil fishermen's rights.

Pension & Welfare Expansion

13. The manifesto promises a monthly pension of Rs.3,000 for senior citizens, widows, and differently-abled individuals, covering up to 15 lakh beneficiaries.

Free Electricity, LPG & Housing Support

14. Under its TVK free scheme 2026, the party has promised 200 units of free electricity and piped water supply for households.

15. The Annapoorani Super-6 Scheme includes 6 free LPG cylinders annually, aiming to reduce the cost burden on families.

16. TVK has also pledged free house pattas for the landless, along with annual health check-ups and medical insurance coverage of up to Rs.25 lakh.

AI City, Governance Reforms, Anti-Drug Measures & More

17. TVK has proposed setting up an AI city and AI universities, along with a dedicated Ministry for Artificial Intelligence to make Tamil Nadu as a tech innovation hub.

18. The party also promises transparent and timely TNPSC exams to eliminate delays and corruption, alongside anti-drug protection zones around schools and colleges.

While all these promises are expansive and voter-focused, the real challenge will lie in execution and fiscal sustainability. It will be interesting to see what TVK's and Vijay's Future action plans are once he assumes the CM office.
