anjay Shah, the CEO of Vistex Asia, didn't know that the company's 25th-anniversary celebrations would take his life and would turn out to be a sad day for him and his family. The CEO of Vistex, Sanjay Shah lost his life in a tragic incident on Thursday evening while celebrating the company's silver jubilee, when Shah and his colleague entered into an iron cage, which was to be lowered from a height, when the iron chain supporting it broke on one side, and both of them fell, according to reports.

Due to this mishap, Shah lost his life, while another official suffered a serious injury in a freak accident during the silver jubilee celebrations of the company at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, according to a PTI report quoting police.

Vishwanath Raju Datlaa, who along with Shah participated in a stunt inside the iron cage contraption, suffered injuries and is in a serious condition.

- Sanjay Shah, was the Founder and CEO of Illinois-based software and services company Vistex which helps global leaders such as Apple, Walmart, and others enhance their revenue and margins.

- Shah, originally from Mumbai, left Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, earning his MBA at the age of 21 in 1989.

- He worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and General Motors (GM) before moving to Germany to work for the software giant SAP.

- After leaving SAP, Sanjay Shah founded Vistex, helping the company to achieve robust year-over-year (YoY) growth for almost 20 years sans any external funding.

- The self-made businessman also established the Vistex Foundation, supporting health and education nonprofits.
