Vivek Oberoi Is Richer Than You Think: Here’s How He Made Rs 1200 Crore Outside Bollywood Films

You may remember Vivek Oberoi for his roles in Bollywood movies, but what many people don't know is that he's quietly become a big name in the business world. While he's no longer seen in films as often as before, Vivek has been busy building an empire worth around Rs.1200 crore, and most of it doesn't come from acting.

His journey into business started pretty early when he got into real estate. One of his first big steps was launching Karrm Infrastructure, a company focused on building housing and property projects, as per reports. Over the years, his interest in real estate grew, and today he's leading BNW Real Estate Developments, a major luxury real estate company based in the UAE. BNW is currently working on 23 premium housing projects, including the fancy Taj Wellington Mews on Al Marjan Island. The company stands out for being debt-free and catering to high-end clients looking for ultra-luxurious homes. On top of that, Vivek is also involved in a massive Rs. Rs.2,300 crore project called Aqua Arc in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

Vivek has also ventured into the diamond business when he co-founded Solitario, a brand that makes lab-grown affordable diamonds. Solitario is co-founded by Indian businessman Satish Dharyanani, and Ricky Vasandani is the CID executive officer.

In 2021, Vivek entered the world of digital marketing when he launched Impresario Global, a company that helps brands promote themselves while also doing good in society-like supporting environmental causes or women empowerment. For Vivek, business isn't just about money; it's about making a positive impact.

Another very practical business he's invested in is ReadyAssist, a service that offers 24/7 roadside assistance. ReadyAssist sends help to your location anywhere in India if your car breaks down in the middle of the road.

The 48-year-old actor also ventured into the education sector, where he helped start iScholar, an online learning platform that helps students in small towns and rural areas access the kind of quality coaching usually available only in big cities. The platform offers coaching for competitive exams and also helps students build life skills. He's also one of the founders of Svarnim University.

Most recently, Vivek stepped into the world of luxury alcohol. In March 2025, he bought a 21% stake in Rutland Square Spirits Ltd, a craft gin company based in Scotland.

Vivek Oberoi's net worth today is higher than that of several big Indian film stars, including Prabhas, Allu Arjun, and even Rajinikanth. While he may not be as frequently seen on the big screen, his most recent appearance was in the film PM Narendra Modi, where he played the lead role. According to information available on Wikipedia, his next movie is titled Kesari Veer, which is currently in post-production. Though the official release date hasn't been announced yet, the film is expected to hit theatres sometime in 2025.
