Vodafone Idea To Get Cashback Under #RechargeforGood Initiative

If you are an Airtel customer, you must already be receiving wherein recharging for those who are not digital savvy will give you some benefit. Now similar offers are now being made by Vodafone Idea which on Thursday said that it be offering cashback as part of #RechargeforGood initiative, who help recharge for other customers.

"The program enables every Vodafone and Idea customer to recharge for a friend, family or anyone who doesn't know how to recharge online or doesn't have access to the internet. This good deed indeed in hard times of coronavirus outbreak will be rewarded with a cashback of up to 6 per cent on recharges done by an existing Vodafone or Idea customer for someone else through MyVodafone App or MyIdea App," the company said in a statement.

The facility is available from April 9 for Vodafone and from April 10 for Idea subscribers.
The offer will be valid till April 30, 2020.

And in the process, customers doing the recharge based on the recharge value will be eligible for cash back but the facility is available via app MyVodafone app or MyIdea app.

The cashback coupon can be applied on the customer's subsequent recharge, it added.
