Watch 10 Movies For Rs 699 With PVR INOX's Monthly Subscription Pass

Multiplex leader PVR INOX, in a big move against the OTT wave, announced the launch of a movie subscription pass for just Rs 699 that allows cinemagoers to watch 10 movies every month. The new service, named 'Passport' will be available from October 16 and will only be applicable during weekdays (Monday-Thursday).

The 'Passport' subscription can be bought for a minimum of three months from the company's app or website. The multiplex giant has introduced the plan under a limited-period offer, with only 20,000 subscriptions. According to PVR's website, the voucher can be redeemed to pay for one movie ticket a day at any of the participating PVR & INOX properties.

The plan comes with certain terms and conditions like, ticket pricing for Passport holders is capped at Rs 350, which will allow one to purchase any ticket of up to ₹350 and can only be bought on the PVR or INOX official app or website. Adding to that, the users will also have to pay a convenience fee (and related taxes) over and above the ticket price.

The voucher can again not be used to book premium offerings like IMAX, Gold, LUXE and Director's Cut as well as recliner seats or equivalent. It also cannot be transferred to someone else for booking. Expect the southern states including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana and cities including Chandigarh, Puducherry, Pathankot, Srinagar, Bharuch, Bhiwadi, Jorhat, Kalka, Siliguri and Colombo, the Passport voucher is valid across India.

Along with the recent big releases like Oppenheimer, Barbie, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Gadar 2, OMG 2, Dream Girl 2 and Jawan, PVR INOX also launched Trailer shows for One Rupee earlier this year, along with offers in F&B and the launch of a new campaign 'Fresh Dekho, Bada Dekho', urging consumers to return to the big screens. The company has also been screening World Cup and IPL Matches to bolster footfalls.
