Quick-commerce platforms have launched the doorstep delivery of the Bharat Yatra Card, a National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) that will let commuters make seamless, contactless payments across metro and bus networks in multiple Indian cities.

What Is the Bharat Yatra Card?

The Bharat Yatra Card is an NCMC-enabled prepaid transit card that supports tap-and-pay functionality across public transport systems that accept the National Common Mobility Card. Instead of buying separate tickets or cards for different cities or transport modes, commuters can use one card for multiple metro and bus networks.

The card works even in offline mode, helping in uninterrupted travel in areas with poor internet connectivity.

Key Features of Blinkit's Bharat Yatra Card

Zero-KYC Card means no identity documents are required and the card is activated instantly using a QR code and mobile number.

UPI-Based Top-Ups available so users can recharge the card instantly via UPI, QR scan, the Bharat Yatra app, or at transit stations.

The prepaid card supports a maximum balance of Rs. 2,000.

Contactless Payments so you can just simply tap the card at metro gates or bus terminals for automatic fare deduction.

Works across NCMC-enabled metros and buses in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, with more cities being added.

Transactions can be completed even without real-time internet access.
