WhatsApp Added New Payments Background Feature & More: Check Details

The Facebook-owned free messaging and video calling mobile application 'WhatsApp' has now added a new feature dubbed as 'Payments Background' for Indian users which can be used for a personalized experience while transacting with their friends. The overarching intention of this feature enhancement is to make money transfers between loved ones more personalized for both the sender and the receiver by introducing a touch of expression. Payment backgrounds make sending money personalized and give a unique experience behind every transaction or payment of life.

Recently, WhatsApp has also recently added a new feature dubbed as 'View Once'. Regarding the same WhatsApp has said via its Twitter handle that "You can now send photos and videos that disappear after they've been opened via View Once on WhatsApp, giving you more control over your chats privacy."

WhatsApp has on its latest update added a new feature where you can send photos and videos on WhatsApp that can only be viewed once. Last month the free messaging app had also introduced the 'Archive' feature. Via its Twitter handle WhatsApp had stated that "Archive on WhatsApp lets you organize your private messages and prioritize important conversations. Your Archived chats will now remain archived and muted but you can always change them back."

You can use the new feature by selecting the contact you want to send money to and entering the amount you want to pay him or her. Now tap the background icon and navigate through the various selections until you find the perfect one. Even after you've added a background, you can alter the amount or add a payment description for the receiver. WhatsApp is used by over 2 billion users in over 180 countries to stay connected with loved ones anytime and from anywhere.
