Wipro Ltd, a technology behemoth, is set to consider and approve a second interim dividend on March 25, 2022. The board of directors of the corporation will meet on March 25 to discuss the dividend proposal. The company stated in an exchange filing that "This is to inform that, pursuant to Regulation 29(1) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled to be held on March 25, 2022 to consider and approve the declaration of interim dividend, for the financial year ending 2021-22."

The company's board of directors declared an interim dividend of Rs 1 per equity share with a par value of Rs 2 earlier in January and by February 5, 2022, the dividend has been paid to the Members of the Company.
On the NSE, the company's shares climbed by 46.75 percent in one year, from Rs 415.50 on March 23, 2021 to Rs 609.75 on March 23, 2022, 1:04 pm IST. The stock is down by -15.16 percent on a year-to-date (YTD) basis and -9.57 percent in the last six months. In the last month, the stock has risen 7.52 percent, and in the previous five days, it has climbed 1.97 percent.

The record date for the purpose of paying the last dividend has been set for Friday, April 1, 2022. For the fiscal year ending December 31, 2021, CRISIL's board of directors has proposed a final dividend of Rs. 22 per equity share with a nominal value of Re 1 each, including a special dividend of Rs 7. The firm has specified April 22, 2022 as the record date.
