Wipro To Consider Share Buyback On October 13

Close on the heels of TCS unveiling its buyback plans, IT major Wipro announced its plan to buyback shares.

In a filing to the BSE, the company said that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled on 13/10/2020 ,inter alia, to consider and approve In continuation to the intimation made by Wipro, dated October 1, 2020, about the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company being scheduled to be held over October 12-13, 2020 and in accordance with the Regulations 29(1)(b) and 29(2) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, it is hereby informed that the Board of Directors will be considering a proposal of buyback of equity shares of the Company at the aforesaid meeting scheduled to be held on October 13, 2020.

Wipro To Consider Share Buyback On October 13

On October 7, 2020, the stock of Wipro ended 1.59 percent higher at Rs. 335.25 per share.
