Davos, Switzerland, is set to host the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) from January 15-19, bringing together over 2,800 leaders from around the world, including more than 60 heads of states and governments.

The meeting, themed "Rebuilding Trust," will take place amidst a complex geopolitical and geo-economic scenario. WEF President Borge Brende highlighted the significance of addressing the root causes of current challenges and fostering trust for a more promising future.
Strong Indian Delegation to Attend
India will be well-represented at the WEF meeting, with a delegation that includes three union ministers (Smriti Irani, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Hardeep Singh Puri), three chief ministers (Eknath Shinde of Maharashtra, Revanth Reddy of Telangana, and Siddaramaiah of Karnataka), and several other prominent figures from the business and finance sectors.
Global Leaders and Key Participants
The meeting will feature the participation of numerous global leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron, Chinese Premier Li Qiang, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

The WEF meeting aims to drive dialogue, cooperation, and partnerships on critical global issues, such as economic growth, climate action, energy security, technology governance, and human development.

Leaders from International Organizations
Heads of international organizations, including UN Secretary-General António Guterres, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, World Bank President Ajay S Banga, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, and WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, will also participate in the meeting.
Business and Innovation Representation
An estimated 1,600 business leaders, including over 800 of the world's top CEOs and chairpersons, will join the WEF meeting. Additionally, more than 150 global innovators, tech pioneers, and unicorns, as well as over 35 cultural leaders, will be in attendance.
