IMD Issues Yellow Alert For Karnataka Weather: Bengaluru, Kalburgi, Mysuru Among Districts to See Heavy Rain

The Karnataka State Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSDMC) has issued a yellow alert for Karnataka weather today, as several districts are expected to see heavy rain and thunderstorms with winds. Neighbouring regions like Chamarajanagara, Chikkaballapura, Chikkamagaluru, Davanagere, Hassan, Kodagu, Kolar, Mandya, Mysuru, Ramanagara, and Shivamogga are also expected to receive rain with gusty winds. Commuters in Bengaluru are advised to carry umbrellas and plan travel accordingly.

South Interior Karnataka & Malnad Weather

The South Interior Karnataka weather forecast predicts heavy rain and thundershowers in districts such as Ballari, Vijayanagara, Tumakuru, and Chitradurga. Gusty winds of up to 40 kmph may be experienced in these areas.

Meanwhile, other districts in the Malnad region could see light to moderate rain, keeping the overall weather cloudy and humid.
