'Yet Another Utterly False Article': Elon Musk's Reply On Tesla-Saudi Arabia Deal Buzz

Billionaire Elon Musk has clarified the deal buzz that involves his Tesla company and Saudia Arabia. Musk called the buzz as false and even took a jab at the Wall Street Journal which first broke the news. As per the report, it was said that Saudi Arabia and the electric vehicle giant are in talks to set up a manufacturing facility.

The article in WSJ was released on September 18. Soon after, on the same day, Musk tweeted saying, "Yet another utterly false article from WSJ."

WSJ reported that people familiar with the matter revealed that Saudi Arabia is in talks with Tesla about setting up a manufacturing facility there. This was said to be part of an ambitious push by the kingdom to secure metals needed for electric vehicles and help diversify its economy away from oil.

Notably, the news broke out just a few hours after Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan asked Musk, the CEO of Tesla to build a vehicle factory in their country.

Also, the buzz took around when Musk met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who along with his wife Sara also visited the Tesla's factory in Fremont, California.

As per the Times Of Israel report, Netanyahu and Musk briefly held a private meeting before beginning their live discussion on the social media platform X, with both saying the talk will focus on artificial intelligence.
