Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (Z) has unveiled a new logo for its parent company and for other brands like Zee Music, Zee TV, Zee Studios, etc. The rebranding of the entertainment and media conglomerate aligns with its aim to provide premium quality content and an immersive consumer experience across platforms, said ZEEL in a press release.
"The Company will identify and create value-accretive opportunities that seamlessly amalgamate technology across all functions, including content creation, distribution and monetization," stated ZEEL.

ZEEL Goes 'Z'
The new brand logo features just a single letter, ie 'Z'. "As the first truly Indian brand operating globally, the cutting-edge look and feel of 'Z' symbolizes the young, emerging India and its bold aspirations for the future."
Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL)'s new logo, according to the conglomerate, is a reflection of its growth trajectory and plans for content and technology across the business.
'Laugh Louder, Dream Bigger, Feel More Deeply'
While announcing the launch of its new logo, ZEEL quoted a promise made by Z to its viewers: "I promise to make you laugh louder, dream bigger and feel more deeply in every moment and through every experience. After all, life is not about counting the beats of your heart, but counting the moments that make your heart beat!"
Underlining the significance of ZEEL's new look with the company' 'futuristic vision', company CEO Punit Goenka said, "The new logo reflects our commitment to embrace emerging technologies to enhance the overall consumer experience. The new brand universe underscores our bold spirit and resolve to remain agile and adaptive in a fast-evolving landscape."
Zee TV Logo History
The first Zee TV logo design also featured to a single letter, however it was far bolder than the new logo launched in 2025. Zee TV's first logo (launched in 1992) featured a massive, bold geometric letter 'Z' in vibrant blue and pink colours.
The logo featured enlarged 'Z' alongwith 'Zee TV' written in capital letters below. ZEEL's flagship channel Zee TV was launched in October 1992. As the channel used to compete with national broadcaster Doordarshan during its initial years, its viewers mostly enjoyed old Hindi movies and reruns of Doordarshan serials.
Zee Telefilms was renamed to Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) on 10 January 2007. The entertainment group underwent a major branding overhaul in 2013. The second branding overhaul happened in 2017, when all Zee channels were rebranded with its new current slogan 'Aaj Likhenge Kal'.
It faced immense competition after the entry of Rupert Murdoch-owned Start TV into the business. Within three year of the launch, Zee TV had three channels, ie Zee Cinema, EL TV, and Zee TV.
