Zee Media Corporation Ltd (ZMCL) shares gained almost 2% intraday on 9 September after Auv Innovations LLP, one of the promoters of the company, acquired a stake of considerable size.

On Tuesday, the shares of Zee Media Corporation opened on the BSE at Rs 12.60 and surged to an intraday high of Rs 12.64, which is a gain of 2.10% from its previous close. The market cap of the company reached Rs 784 Cr.
On 5 September, Auv Innovations LLC bought shares under the open market at Rs 12.37 per share in a block purchase from Miloex Media & Entertainment. This share purchase was 5 million shares, around 0.8% of the company's shares, and increased his stake from 3.39 crores (5.43% of the total shareholding) to 3.89 crore shares (6.23%). This purchase, currently valued at Rs 6.18 crores, further provides confidence in the promoters of Zee Media.
This acquisition comes on the back of the August 21 acquisition by Auv Innovations LLP, which crossed the 5 % threshold after acquiring 1 crore equity shares and thus increased its equity stake.
The 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the corporation's shareholders has been approved by the corporation to be held on Friday, September 26, 2025.
"The Company shall be providing facility to all its shareholders to exercise their right to vote on all businesses proposed at the AGM by electronic means (remote e-Voting facility and e-Voting at AGM). The said facility is being provided by National Securities Depositories Ltd (NSDL). The remote e-voting period will commence on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 9:00 A.M. (IST) and will end on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 5:00 P.M. (IST) and the Shareholders of the Company as on the cut-off date i.e. Friday, September 19, 2025, shall be eligible to vote using the remote e-voting facility and e-voting at the AGM. The details such as manner of casting vote through e-Voting, attending the AGM through VC/OAVM and registering / updating email addresses etc. has been set out in the Notice calling the AGM," said Zee Media Corporation in a stock exchange filing.
