Mmde Thrissur Pooram’ in Dubai, on December 4

'Mmde Thrissur Pooram' is all set to fill Dubai with its transcendent percussion rhythms and spectacular visual treats.

Organized by Equity Plus Advertising and Mmde Thrissur UAE, the 'Mmde Thrissur Pooram Dubai 2022' mega event will be conducted at the Dubai Etisalat Academy on Sunday, 4th December 2022. The event will level up on the electrifying ambiance of the previous year's Dubai Thrissur Pooram and reflect the heightened enthusiasm of the original Thrissur Pooram festival of Kerala.

The major performances that will be staged at the venue are Kodiyettam, Irukol Panchari Melam, Madathilvaravu Panchavadyam, Kavadiyattam, Nadaswaram, Ilanjithara Pandi Melam, Ghoshayatra, Samskarika Sammelanam, Live Band and Kodiyirakkam. The world premiere of the mesmerizing Mattannur Irukol Panchari Melam with over 100 top-notch instrumentalists led by the virtuoso percussionist Padmashri Mattannur Sankarankutty Maarar and the muchheralded Major Set Panchavadyam performed by the Parakkad Thankappan Maarar of the Paramekkaavu, on his first ever tour to the UAE will be the headlining acts at this year's event. A similar attraction is the famed Ilanjithara Paandi Melam, led by Padmashri Peruvanam Kuttan Maarar accompanied by over 100 master percussionists. A Live Band music performance by the celebrated Malayalam playback singers and Kerala State Award winners, Sooraj Santhosh and Nithya Mammen duo are all set to thrill the audiences at the Pooram venue. The attractions do not end there; a trove of exotic experiences await the Pooram lovers in the form of Keli, Kaalakali, Ghoshayathra, Robotic Elephants, Thrissur Kottappuram Desam Pulikali, Nadaswara Melam by the Kariyannur Brothers, Kavadiyattam and Kudamattam to name a few.
