Open Atlas Summit 2026 Brings Immigration Lawyers to You

Open Atlas Summit 2026, presented by Manifest, will give attendees access to complimentary one-on-one sessions with immigration attorneys for clarity on visas, careers and major life decisions.

Immigration information is everywhere, but clarity remains difficult to find.

Open Atlas Summit

A professional may receive one answer from an online forum, another from a colleague and a completely different interpretation from social media. Because every immigration case depends on individual facts, relying on general information can create more confusion rather than less.

At Open Atlas Summit 2026, the dedicated Legal Desk will give attendees an opportunity to speak privately with immigration attorneys and discuss the questions affecting their careers, companies and futures in the United States.

The Summit will take place on August 21 and 22, 2026, at the India Community Centre in Milpitas, California.

For someone stuck in the EB-2 or EB-3 backlog, struggling to find H-1B stamping appointments or looking for a sponsor-friendly job, the Summit offers access to multiple forms of guidance within the same two-day event.

One-on-one guidance when the stakes are high

  • The Legal Desk is designed for people who may be uncertain about:
  • Their options after an H-1B layoff
  • Whether their profile could support O-1, EB-1A or NIW consideration
  • Starting or operating a company as an immigrant
  • Moving from one employer to another
  • Adjustment of status versus consular processing
  • Visa stamping and consular interviews
  • Long immigration delays
  • Protecting intellectual property and founder interests
  • EB-5 and other investment-related pathways
  • The immigration impact of a major career decision

The consultations are educational and do not guarantee a visa, petition approval or legal representation. However, speaking with a qualified professional can help attendees identify the right questions, understand possible risks and decide what information they may need before taking their next step.

For immigrants who have delayed important decisions because they do not know where to begin, that clarity can be valuable.

Immigration experts across the programme

In addition to the Legal Desk, Open Atlas Summit 2026 will feature a full track of immigration sessions.

At 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 22, attorneys from Tukki, Larsen Law Firm and Manifest Law will lead the session - O-1, NIW, EB-1A: Are You Actually Qualified?

Other sessions include:

  • Alternatives to H-1B: The Visas Nobody Talks About
  • Adjustment of Status vs. Consular Processing
  • Making EB-5 More Achievable
  • Laid Off on H-1B: What Are My Options?
  • EB-1A: What Are My Odds?
  • Consular Interviews in 2026
  • When Does Litigation Make Sense?
  • What Happens Inside USCIS
  • Immigration Policy Changes in 2026

The speaker lineup includes immigration attorneys, former USCIS officials, a former consular officer and experts who work with immigration data and policy.

Among them are Finn Reynolds of Lawfully, Michael Valverde, former USCIS Director of Field Operations, and April Padilla, who brings experience connected to USCIS adjudication and EB-1A training.

Attendees will also have opportunities to meet O-1, EB-1A and EB-5 recipients, former USCIS directors, top immigration attorneys and sponsor-friendly employers. These conversations can help connect legal questions with the real career and professional decisions immigrants are making.

A larger Summit for a growing community

The 2025 Open Atlas Summit brought hundreds of immigrants together for workshops, legal conversations, career sessions and community programming.

Open Atlas Summit 2026 is being expanded for more than 1,000 attendees, with a Startup Job Fair, Hackathon, five-room conference programme, founder sessions, career workshops and practical immigration guidance.

The first day, Friday, August 21, will feature the Hackathon from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the Job Fair from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The second day will bring attorneys, recruiters, investors, founders and experienced professionals together for a full day of sessions.

For immigrants feeling lost, overwhelmed or uncertain, Open Atlas Summit 2026 offers the chance to replace scattered information with more structured guidance.

It is not a substitute for formal legal representation. It is an opportunity to begin the right conversation with people who understand how high-stakes immigration decisions are made.

Join the Open Atlas Summit on August 21 and 22 at the India Community Center in Milpitas.
