1:1 Bonus Issue Before May 16: Penny Stock That Gained 3,400% In 5 Years, To Give Free Shares; Record Date?

The reason behind the latest upside is the announcement of bonus shares.

After market hours of March 18, Captain Technocast share price closed at its intraday high of Rs 590 apiece on BSE, with market cap of Rs 684.99 crore. The stock is near its 52-week high of Rs 606 apiece, while gained multi-fold from its 52-week low of Rs 163.70 apiece.

YTD, the stock zoomed by more than 14.5% on BSE. In a year, the upside is impressive by 253.29%, while in 5 years, Captain Technocast skyrocketed by a whopping 3,411.90% on BSE. Five years ago, the stock was at Rs 16.80 on March 19, 2020.

Captain Technocast Bonus Issue:

In a meeting held on March 18, Captain Technocast announced issue of 1 (One) Bonus Shares for every 1 (One) Equity Shares held by the Equity Shareholders of the Company as on 'Record Date'. The Bonus Issue of Equity Shares is subject to the approval of the shareholders and other applicable statutory and regulatory approvals, as may be required.

It said, "the Company will intimate the 'Record Date' for determining eligible Shareholders entitled to receive bonus shares, in due course of time."

Also, it said, the Bonus Shares once allotted shall rank pari-passu in all respects and carry the same rights of the existing Equity Shares and shall be entitled to participate in full in any dividend and either corporate action(s), recommended and declared after the issue and allotment of such Bonus Shares.

The number of bonus shares proposed are 11610050 equity shares. As of September 2024, the company has free reserves and securities premium of rS 17,23,49,822.

The company plans to finish its bonus issue action by May 16, 2025.
