1:5 Stock Split Alert! This Engineering Stock to Turn 1 Share Into 5; Check Record Date and Other Details

Interarch Building Solutions Ltd has fixed Monday, November 30th, as the record date for its stock split. In an exchange filing, the company said each equity share of face value Rs 10 will be subdivided into five equity shares of Rs 2 each, all fully paid up. Shares of Interarch were trading at Rs 1,499.00, down Rs 9.80 or 0.65%, on October 23.

The board approved the 1:5 split and a QIP of up to Rs 250 crore on August 6, and the 43rd Annual General Meeting was scheduled for September 10th. Shareholders approved the split at that AGM. A split does not change the value of a holding. It increases the number of shares and cuts the face value and price per share in proportion. A shareholder with 10 shares will hold 50 after the split, and at Rs 1,499.00 the adjusted price would work out to about Rs 299.80, all else being equal.

The record date is Monday, November 30th. Under the T+1 settlement cycle, investors need to buy the shares by Friday, November 27 to be on the register on the record date.

Share Price and Recent Performance

Interarch Building Solutions shares has been under pressure. It is down 5.35% over the past five days and 27.37% over six months, and it touched a fresh 52-week low today, as per BSE Data.

June-quarter revenue was Rs 459.6 crore, up 20.7% from a year earlier, while net profit was Rs 28.2 crore, little changed year on year. FY26 revenue was Rs 1,898 crore, with installed capacity of 2,01,000 MTPA. The board also approved a joint venture agreement with ER Steel Inc., with no financial terms disclosed.
