Concord Biotech Bonus Issue: 100 Shares To Become 200
Under the proposed 1:1 bonus issue, shareholders will receive one fully paid-up equity share of Rs. 1 face value for every one existing share of Rs. 1 held on the record date.
The bonus issue involves 10,46,16,204 new equity shares, having a total face value of Rs. 10.46 crore. Following the issue, the company's paid-up share capital will rise from Rs.10.46 crore to Rs. 20.92 crore.
Concord Biotech Bonus Record Date
The record date has not been announced yet. The record date will determine which shareholders are eligible to receive the bonus shares. Investors looking to qualify will need to hold Concord Biotech shares according to the applicable settlement rules before the relevant ex-date/record date. However, the bonus issue is subject to shareholder approval.
The bonus issue will not involve a cash payout by the company. Concord Biotech will capitalise Rs. 10.46 crore from its share premium account to issue the bonus shares. The company had a share premium balance of Rs. 81.97 crore as of March 31, 2026.
A bonus issue increases the number of shares but does not automatically increase the value of an investor's holding. For example, suppose an investor owns 100 shares at Rs. 1,560 each. Before the bonus 100 × Rs. 1,560 = Rs. 1.56 lakh
After a 1:1 bonus, the investor would have 200 shares. The theoretical adjusted price would be around Rs. 780 per share 200 × Rs. 780 = Rs. 1.56 lakh
Concord Biotech Share Price
The stock closed at Rs. 1,480 on the NSE on September 24 after falling by 5.15% . The stock has gained around 42.6% over the past six months and about 10.76% in 2026, according to Exchange data.
