4 Bonus Issues Announcement, Record Dates To Watch Out On October 14; Largecaps To Penny Stocks, Who Are They?

Four stocks including large-caps and penny status, will be in focus on October 14, for their bonus issuances and record date. Two stocks will be announcing bonus issues and they are Wipro and Easy Trip Planners. While expectations of record date from India's largest oil and gas stock, Reliance Industries is also on the cards. Moreover, the NSE-listed Aurangabad Distillery will turn ex-date on Monday.

Here are the key details to know:

1. Reliance Industries (RIL):

India's largest company in terms of market cap, Reliance has announced bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1 i.e. every shareholder holding 1 (one) fully paid-up equity share of Rs. 10/-each on the record date will receive 1 (one) fully paid-up equity share of Rs. 10/- each.

This is Reliance's largest-ever issuance of bonus equity shares in the Indian equity market. Reliance earlier in September said that the issuance and listing of bonus shares will coincide with the upcoming festive season in India and will be an early Diwali Gift to all our esteemed shareholders.

Accordingly, the market is expecting Reliance to announce the record date of bonus issues on October 14, as the company will announce its Q2 results for FY25 on this day. Notably, Reliance also gave investors to turn their partly paid-up equity shares into fully paid-up shares by October 7, so that they can be eligible for the upcoming bonus rewards.

Reliance is currently at Rs 2742.20 apiece on BSE, with a market cap of Rs 18,55,366.53 crore. The stock has gained by nearly 6% YTD.

Reliance is India's largest private sector company, with a consolidated revenue of INR 10,00,122 crore (US$ 119.9 billion), cash profit of INR 1,41,969 crore (US$ 17.0 billion) and net profit of INR 79,020 crore (US$ 9.5 billion) for the year ended March 31, 2024.

2. Easy Trip Planners:

This small-cap travel company is planning to consider and approve bonus shares on October 14. This will be the third bonus issuance by Easy Trip Planners.

Earlier, in 2022, the company carried its first bonus issue of 1:1 in March and its second 3:1 bonus in November of that year.

Currently, the stock is at Rs 34.20 apiece, with a market cap of Rs 6,060.38 crore on BSE. YTD, the company's stock is down by nearly 16%.

Established in 2008, EaseMyTrip.com is India's second-largest online travel platform. Founded by brothers Nishant, Rikant, and Prashant, the company's inception stemmed from their earlier venture, Duke Travel, with a vision to streamline operations and minimize capital requirements.

3. Rajoo Engineering:

Just like Easy Trip, this smallcap engineering company's board of directors meeting is scheduled on October 14, to consider a proposal for declaration and recommendation of Bonus Equity Shares. The company will also announce its Q2 results for FY25 on Monday.

This will be the second bonus issue by Rajoo Engineering in 2024 alone. The first bonus issue was 1:1 in August this year.

At present, the smallcap is at Rs 401.65 apiece, with a market cap of Rs 4,940.66 crore. Rajoo is a 2024 multi-bagger with gains of a whopping 285.53% YTD.

Rajoo is among the leading blown film lines, sheet lines and thermoformers in the Indian sub-continent. The company has a sought-after name in global markets - exports accounting for over 50% of sales is indicative. While installations are spread across 70 countries, installations in Germany, Spain and the U.K. standout as accepted by the most stringent and developed markets of the world.

4. Aurangabad Distillery:

This penny stock is at Rs 385.50 apiece, with a market cap of Rs 316.11 crore. The stock is only listed on the NSE.

Aurangabad Distillery has fixed Monday, 14th October 2024 as the record date to determine the members, eligible for issuance of bonus shares in the proportion of 1:4 i.e. 1 (one) new fully paid-up equity shares for every 4 (four) existing fully paid-up equity shares held as approved by the shareholders.

Hence, the stock will turn ex-date for its bonus issue of 1:4 on Monday.
