5 Kg LPG Prices From July 1: Indane Chottu LPG FTL Refill Prices Cut By Rs 13, Chottu XTRALITE Rates Unchanged

The start of July brings good news for migrant workers and renters as Indian Oil trims the price of 5 kg free trade LPG (FTL) refills by at least Rs 10 to Rs 13 across major cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. The new rates took effect on July 1, 2026. However, the rates of 5 kg XTRALITE Indane Chottu, which is majorly used for domestic consumption.

Indian Oil sells different types of Indane Chottu, or 5 Kg cylinders, intended for various customers. For instance, the 5 kg XTRALITE LPG is eligible for regular domestic usage and any existing Indane customer can buy it.

But the 5 kg Chhotu FTL Refill is portable and anyone with a valid ID can purchase it. Then there is the 5Kg Non-Domestic Cylinder Refill - New FTL which is essentially the Indane Chhotu refill price for customers who already own a Chhotu (FTL) cylinder. This can be purchased without a regular domestic LPG connection.

5 Kg LPG Prices In Delhi

If you visit the Indian Oil website and select any distributor in New Delhi, you will get the latest prices of all types of LPG cylinders.

For July 2026, the price of a 5 KG XTRALITE LPG CYL- Filled is unchanged at Rs 339. But the price of 5 kg ND CYLINDERÂ REFILL- NEW FTL has dropped by Rs 13 to Rs 808.50 per cylinder compared to June month's rate of Rs 821.50.

5 Kg LPG Prices In Mumbai

In Mumbai, the price of a 5 kg ND CYLINDERÂ REFILL- NEW FTL has dropped by Rs 12.5 to Rs 796.5 per cylinder for July 2026 compared to June month's rate of Rs 809 per cylinder. The popular 5 KG XTRALITE LPG CYL- Filled rate remained unchanged at Rs 339 per cylinder.

5 Kg LPG Prices In Kolkata

At LPG distributors in Kolkata, the 5 KG XTRALITE LPG CYL- Filled rate remained steady at Rs 348 per cylinder. But the rate of 5 kg ND CYLINDERÂ REFILL- NEW FTL stood at RS 848 per cylinder with effect from July 1st, which is down by Rs 10.50 from the previous month's Rs 858.50 per cylinder.

5 Kg LPG Prices In Chennai

Here as well, the 5 KG XTRALITE LPG CYL rate stood unchanged at Rs 344.50 per cylinder for July 2026. But, the price declined by Rs 11.5 to Rs 854.50 per cylinder for 5 kg ND CYLINDERÂ REFILL- NEW FTL, compared to previous month's rate of Rs 866.

5 Kg XTRALITE Domestic Refill vs 5 Kg ND CYLINDER REFILL - NEW FTL

The 5 Kg XTRALITE domestic LPG cylinder is a small refill cylinder for customers who already have a regular Indane domestic LPG connection. It is supplied through the normal domestic LPG distribution system, so the customer pays only for the gas refill.

Meanwhile, the 5 kg Non-Domestic Cylinder Refill under the Free Trade LPG (FTL) is essentially the Indane Chhotu refill price for customers who already own a Chhotu (FTL) cylinder.

Chhotu 5Kg FTL (Free trade LPG), referred to as Chhotu, is a small gas cylinder marketed by IndianOil to cater to needs of its customers.

How To Book Indane Chottu Mini LPG?

According to the Indian Oil website, customers can get their Chhotu gas cylinder through our extensive network of Indane distributorships and other points of sale, like IndianOil Retail Outlets, select Kirana stores, and select local supermarkets.

Also, customers can get a new Chhotu gas connection by submitting only identity proof. A refill can be obtained by visiting any Point of Sale or Distributorship across the country.

Notably, customers do not need to submit address proofs or security deposits to buy 5 kg cylinders. However, they can get Chhotu gas cylinders by submitting only a Government-recognized Proof of Identity (POI).

Indian Oil stated that Chhotu Master is Safe, Low cost, High Quality, Energy Efficient (more than 68% thermal efficiency), Reliable and High on Performance. It is also half of its existing cooktop offering. Generally, the target consumers for 5 kg cylinders are students, working professionals, migrants, workers and trekkers.
