5 Kg LPG Prices Hiked From June 1: Indane Chottu LPG Price Up By Rs 11; Check Mini LPG Rates City-Wise

The LPG price of the Indane Chottu gas cylinder, or the popular 5 Kg LPG cylinder, is hiked by Rs 11 with effect from June 1, 2026. Now this mini LPG is priced at Rs 821.50 in Delhi and is also up in other cities across the country. This small gas cylinder is especially launched to cater to the migrant population in urban and semi-urban areas who do not have local address proof, people with lower gas consumption, and commercial establishments with limited space.

5 KG LPG Prices Hiked In India

With effect from June 1, Indian Oil hiked the price of Chottu LPG by Rs 11 across regions. However, the rates of this mini LPG vary from city to city.

This comes after a Rs 261 hike in May 2026 and a Rs 51 hike in April 2026. Hence, Chottu LPG prices have been hiked for three consecutive months now.

5 Kg LPG Cylinder Prices In Delhi

The Indane Chottu LPG is priced at Rs 821.50 per cylinder in Delhi. However, there are various versions of 5Kg cylinders and they are priced differently.

In Mumbai as well, the Chottu LPG rates are unchanged for June 2026. Here's what they are:

In Chennai, the chottu LPG rates vary too and depends upon the type of the cylinder you are purchasing.

- 5 KG XTRALITE LPG CYL- Filled: Rs 344.50 per cylinder

- 5 kg ND CYLINDERÂ REFILL- NEW FTL: Rs 866 per cylinder

- 5 KG REFILL FTL (POS) ND FILLED CYL: Rs 880 per cylinder

- 5 KG FTL - ND CYLINDER: Rs 1,810 per cylinder

How To Book Indane Chottu Mini LPG?

According to the Indian Oil website, customers can get their Chhotu gas cylinder through our extensive network of Indane distributorships and other points of sale, like IndianOil Retail Outlets, select Kirana stores, and select local supermarkets.

Also, customers can get a new Chhotu gas connection by submitting only identity proof. A refill can be obtained by visiting any Point of Sale or Distributorship across the country.

Notably, customers do not need to submit address proofs or security deposits to buy 5 kg cylinders. However, they can get Chhotu gas cylinders by submitting only a Government-recognized Proof of Identity (POI).

Indian Oil stated that Chhotu Master is Safe, Low cost, High Quality, Energy Efficient (more than 68% thermal efficiency), Reliable and High on Performance. It is also half of its existing cooktop offering. Generally, the target consumers for 5 kg cylinders are students, working professionals, migrants, workers and trekkers.
