UIDAI, the unique 12-digit Aadhaar issuing body in its latest tweet said no documents shall be required for updation of photograph, biometrics (fingerprint and iris scan), gender, mobile number and email ID in Aadhaar Further you just need to have your aadhaar card copy for the required updation to be made when you visit the Aadhaar Kendra.

Earlier, the UIDAI said for one or multiple field changes in Aadhaar along with change in biometrics, there shall be a charge of Rs. 100. Also, at the same time, UIDAI provided the list of documents that shall qualify as valid proof for updation of name, address and date of birth in Aadhaar.

Aadhaar is a must-have document for receiving government subsidies.
