The Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card, which pays cashback on Airtel products, will undergo a major revision to its cashback and benefits starting on April 12, 2026. According to Axis Bank, the following changes will be applied to your credit card.

1. Revisions in cashback features and benefits
Customers holding an Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card will still receive 10% cashback on other utility payments and 25% cashback on Airtel Mobile, Broadband, and DTH through the Airtel Thanks App; however, they will now be able to choose their own monthly cashback limit. The base cashback amount received during the same statement month will now be the maximum amount of cashback that may be earned on Airtel transactions in a statement month as per the following, according to Axis Bank.
25% Airtel category spends: Capped at twice the base cashback earned during the same statement month, instead of Rs 250.
10% Airtel category spends: Capped at the base cashback earned during the same statement month instead of Rs 250.
"The Cashback earned credit will continue to follow the existing 60-day credit cycle. Accordingly, the Cashback to be credited as per the revised capping logic will be reflected in the Statements generated on or after 12 June 2026," said Axis Bank in a statement.
2. Revisions in cashback for transactions made via Ecom as the mode of payment
The 10% cashback offer on Swiggy, Zomato, and BigBasket has been modified to a 10% value back on Zomato, Blinkit, and District Movies while paying via Ecom. There will be no validity period and value back against Zomato, Blinkit, and District Movies will be credited as part of the appropriate partner wallet. The value back earned can be used for any additional purchases made on the applicable partner platform.
The minimum order value on Zomato and Blinkit is Rs 499, and the offer is not valid for wallet load or gift card purchases. The maximum monthly value back is Rs 200 per partner, per primary card. However, this category would not be eligible for Axis Bank cashback.
3. Axis Bank Credit Card Lounge Access Rules
As per Axis Bank, 4 complimentary domestic lounge access will be discontinued on Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card.
