Bank Holiday List For Feb 2024: Banks will work for only 18 days in the month of February as banks will remain closed for a total of 11 days next month. Apart from special occasions including festivals, and birth anniversaries these holidays also include regular holidays which are Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. Indian banks, private and PSU, remain closed on all Sundays, and the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.
Before the beginning of February, the Reserve Bank of India released the list of bank holidays. Since there will be around 11 bank holidays in February, it is advisable to check the list of holidays in the month of February (Bank Holiday in February 2024) if you are planning to visit your bank branch for any financial work.

One should note that bank holidays do not mean people will not have access to essential digital services like the Internet, UPI, and mobile banking. Even when banks are closed people can conduct financial transactions via online mode.
All bank holidays have been divided into three separate categories: Holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday, and Banks' Closing of Accounts.

Banks will work only for 18 days in the month of February. This means you can visit your nearest branch on these 18 days to complete your banking tasks. In February, banks will remain closed for a total of 11 days including festivals, birth anniversaries, and Saturday-Sunday. One must note that bank holidays are not the same across the country but can differ from state to state depending on regional holidays.
Bank Holiday in February 2024:
4 February 2024- Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.
10 February - Banks will remain closed due to the second Saturday of the month. Also, Losar, a festival celebrated in Gangtok also falls on this day.
11 February 2024- Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.
14 February 2024- Banks will remain closed in Tripura, Orissa, and West Bengal due to Basant Panchami or Saraswati Puja.
15 February 2024- There will be a bank holiday in Manipur due to Lui-Ngai-Ni.
18 February 2024- Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.
19 February 2024- There will be a bank holiday in Maharashtra due to Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti.
20 February 2024- There will be a bank holiday in Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh due to State Day.
24 February 2024- There will be a holiday in banks due to the second Saturday.
25 February 2024- Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.
26 February 2024- There will be a holiday for banks in Arunachal Pradesh due to Nyokum.
