Bonus+Dividend Stocks To Watch Today, July 28: SRF,Godrej Properties & 10 Other Stocks Trade Ex-Date Today

Around twelve stocks are trading ex-date on the BSE and NSE today, Tuesday, July 28. Those investors who held these shares before today's session qualify for the dividend or the bonus issue.

An ex-date, is the trading session from which a stock begins trading without the value of its declared dividend, bonus issue, or other corporate action.To be eligible for a dividend payout, bonus share, or distribution, an investor must have purchased and held the stock before the ex-date. Anyone who buys a stock on or after its ex-date means they will miss out on that specific corporate action.

Godrej Properties, SRF, Solar Industries Lead Today's Ex-Dividend List

Among the higher-value payouts, Solar Industries India has fixed today as the record date for a final dividend of Rs. 11 per share.

Godrej Properties is another one with a final dividend of Rs. 10 per share, also it is the company's highest-ever dividend since its 2015 stock market listing.

SRF Limited also announced its first interim dividend of the new fiscal year, set at Rs. 5 per share.

Mid-Range Dividend Stocks Going Ex-Date Today

The tier 2 companies are also trading ex-dividend today with moderate payouts. EIH Associated Hotels has declared a final dividend of Rs. 3.50 per share, while Dollar Industries has announced a final dividend of Rs. 3 per share.

Permanent Magnets has fixed a final dividend of Rs. 2.20 per share, and Greaves Cotton has declared a final dividend of Rs. 2 per share for eligible shareholders as of today's record date.

Moreover, GMM Pfaudler, Menon Pistons, and Resonance Specialties have each declared a final dividend of Rs. 1 per share.

Hardwyn India Bonus Issue

Apart from the dividends, two other corporate actions are worth flagging for today's ex-date list. Hardwyn India is trading ex-date for a bonus share issue in the ratio of 2:5, meaning eligible shareholders will receive two additional shares for every five shares they currently hold.
