Final Dividend Announcement On May 23: Not BEL, Or HAL, But This Miniratna PSU Stock Advised To Buy Next Week

BEML Ltd, a Miniratna PSU engaged in diverse business such as defence, railway, power and mining, is going to be in focus during the trading week from May 19-May 23. The company is going to announce its fourth quarterly result and recommend final dividend for FY25. Ahead of Q4, brokerage has recommended buying on BEML next week.

BEML Share Price Technical Outlook

For the trading week from May 19 to May 23rd, analysts of SMC Global Securities in their note said the stock closed at Rs 3654.10 on 16th May, 2025. It made a 52-week low of Rs.2350 on 03rd March 2025 and a 52-week high of Rs.5488 on 05th July 2024. The 200-day Exponential Moving Average (DEMA) of the stock on the daily chart is currently at 3388.

Further, the note highlighted that after reaching a 52-week low of 2350 in March, the stock has demonstrated a sustained recovery, trending upward within a well-defined rising channel. Last week, it regained bullish momentum, decisively breaking above its 200-day exponential moving average (EMA).

"This upward move was accompanied by a notable surge in trading volume, reinforcing the strength of the breakout and suggesting potential for further upside in the near term," analysts note.

Accordingly, the note added that the technical setup indicates renewed buying interest, with the stock poised for additional gains if the momentum sustains. Therefore, one can accumulate a stock in a range of 3600-3630 for the expected upside of 4150-4200 levels with S/L below 3250 levels.

BEML Share Price:

Last week, on Friday, BEML stock price closed at Rs 3659.15 apiece, up by 7.9% on BSE, with a market cap of Rs 15,238.35 crore. The stock's price-to-equity ratio is at 57.88x, while the return on equity is at 10.31%.

The BSE 500 listed stock recorded a strong week from May 12-16, with upside of nearly 16.3% on BSE. YTD, however, the stock is down by 11.2%. All-time gains of BEML are a whopping 7,662.30%.

The stock's 52-week high and low is at Rs 5,489.15 apiece and Rs 2,346.35 apiece respectively.

BEML Q4 Results:

As per the regulatory filing, the company announced that its board of directors will meet on Friday, May 23 to consider and approve its standalone and consolidated audited financial results for the financial year ended, March 31, 2025.

BEML Dividend:

Also, on May 23, the company will announce its final dividend for FY25, if any. This final dividend will come after BEML turned ex-dividend on May 15 for an interim dividend of Rs 15 per share. Earlier, the stock turned ex-dividend in February 2025, for Rs 5 dividend per share for FY25.

BEML has never delivered bonuses or stock splits. But it has a strong track record of dividend payout. Since September 2003, BEML paid about 34 dividends, as per Trendlyne data. Its current dividend yield is at 0.97%.
