Gold Prices Today, March 15: Gold, Silver Prices Rise On MCX

Gold and silver prices in India registered a rally on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on March 15, 2024. When it comes to gold futures, maturing on April 5, 2024, the prices stood at Rs 65,676 per 10 grams on the MCX, after registering marginal surge of Rs 81 or 0.12%. The earlier close was registered at Rs 65,595. Silver futures, on the other hand, maturing on May 4, 2024 recorded a surge of Rs 264 or 0.35% to Rs 75,490 per kg on MCX against the earlier close of Rs 75,226 on Friday.

Meanwhile, 22K gold prices in India remained stable in India today on March 15 at Rs 60,600/10 grams and 24K yellow metal prices remain unchanged too at Rs 66,110 on Friday. The price of 100 grams of 22K gold price on March 15, 2024 is Rs 6,06,000 and cost of 100 grams of 24K gold price is Rs 6,61,000 today.

Earlier on March 14, 22K gold prices rose by Rs 250/10 gram and 24K yellow metal prices surged by Rs 270/10 gram.

1 gram of 22 carat gold in India is priced at Rs 6060 and 8 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 48,480. Meanwhile, 1 gram of 24 carat yellow metal is Rs 6611 and 8 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 52,888.

Earlier on Thursday, precious metal slid after a larger-than-expected rise in February's U.S. producer price index (PPI) cooled expectations of early rate cuts by the Federal Reserve, boosting Treasury yields and the dollar, according to Reuters.

As per latest metal report, spot gold fell 0.6% at $2,136.39 per ounce and US gold futures too declined 0.6% at $2,167.5.

Gold Price Kolkata: Price of 10 grams of 22 carat of yellow metal in Kolkata on March 15, 2024 is Rs 60,600 and cost of 24 carat of 10 grams gold is Rs 66,110.

Price of 18K gold in India is Rs 49,580/10 grams and Rs 4,95,800/100 grams on Friday.
