In the last 20 days, private banks have revised their interest rates on FD (fixed deposits), a favourite among Indian savers.
Apart from the fact that these term deposit facilities provide risk-free investment with a guaranteed maturity, there are many options in terms of banks in the market to choose from. One can choose to park their savings in a public sector bank, a private bank or a small finance bank.
In this article, we look at the latest fixed deposit (FD) interest rates of private banks, namely HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Axis Bank.
HDFC Bank FD Interest Rates
These are interest rates on term deposits below Rs 2 crore that are effective from 7 March 2019. Here are some of the highest yielding rates:
