25 Bluechip Stocks At 52-Week Lows, Bears Tighten Grip On Broader Markets
Markets have been falling in the last few weeks as banking concerns linger on, along side rising interest rates. The Sensex and the Nifty have fallen in tandem with the global markets and there could be a further downside as well. Broader markets have taken a beating and several stocks have hit 52-week lows.

Among the stocks that hit 52-week lows include Aarti Surfactants, ABSL AMC, Alkyl Amines, Amber Enterprises, Aster life, Avanti Feeds, Barbeque Nation, Bombay Burmah, BSE Ltd, Caplin Labs, DCM Shriram, Deccan Cements, Excel,Godrej Agrovet, Godrej Properties, Gujarat Alkali, HOEC, IFB Agro, Jindal Polyfilms, Kopran, Laurus Labs, Lux Industries, Motilal Oswal, TV Today Network and Sobha.
Before you buy into some of these stocks it is better to study the fundamentals and see if there has been any structural changes, which has led to some pounding in these stocks. Some of these companies have seen their margins erode significantly on account of higher input costs, leading to poor quarterly numbers, which has led to hammering in these stocks.
Broader markets continue to see selling pressure
Broader markets have seen sustained selling pressure even as the Sensex is holding near the 57,500 points. From here on, there could be a limited downside given as domestic institutions could support given the huge cash pile they are sitting on.
However, Foreign Portfolio Investors may continue to sell into the markets as banking woes are likely to continue a cross the globe. All eyes are likely to be on corporate numbers that are slated to be released in the coming weeks. Apart from this, all eyes would also be on the monetary policy due later next week.
