3 Small Cap Stocks To Trade Ex-Bonus Today, Shares Soar Up To 5%
Three small cap companies that have announced bonus shares earlier this year are set to trade ex-bonus today. Ram Ratna Wires Ltd and Pondy Oxides Ltd announced bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1 while Excel Realty N Infra Ltd has announced bonus share in the ratio of 1:2.

1. Ram Ratna Wires Ltd To Trade Ex-Bonus Today
The company has stated in its BSE filing, "With reference to our communication with the representatives of the Stock Exchanges, i.e. BSE and NSE, and as per Regulation 42 of Listing Regulations we have been advised to keep a gap of 5 (Five) working days between the date of the ensuing Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 2ist September 2022 (the "AGM") at which the resolution relating to issue of Bonus Equity Shares is proposed for approval and the Record Date fixed forthe purpose. In view of the above, we wish to intimate the Stock Exchanges and all the Stakeholders that the Revised Record Date for the purpose of ascertaining the eligibility of shareholders entitled for issue of Bonus Equity Shares of the Company in the proportion of 1 (One) Bonus Equity Share of Rs. 5/- for every 1 (One) existing Equity Share of Rs.5/- held in the Company, subject to approval by the Members at the AGM, will be Thursday, 2 September, 2022."

Later it was converted from Private Limited to Public Limited and changed its name to Ram Ratna Wires Ltd. The company is presently implementing the project at Survey No.212, village Dadra, UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli for the manufacture of Super Enamelled Copper Winding Wires and Submersible Copper Wires.
2. Pondy Exides Ltd Will Trade 1:1 Ex-Bonus Today
The board of directors of the company in its exchange filing stated, "Pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 42 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we would like to inform that the fresh record date for the purpose of issuance of Bonus Shares is fixed on 29th September 2022."
The stock is set to trade ex-bonus today with its record date fixed as Rs September 29, 2022.
Stock Outlook: The current market price of the share is Rs 18.40 apiece with a gain of 2.21% till 10:20 am. Its 52-week high is Rs 684 apiece and 52-week low is Rs 202 apiece, respectively. It has a market capitalization of Rs 638 crore.

The board of directors of the company stated in the regulatory filing, "With reference to the Regulation 42 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements), Regulation, 2015 we would like to inform you that the company has fixed Wednesday, 28 September, 2022 as the "Record Date" for ascertaining the eligibility of shareholders entitled for the purpose of: 1. Split/subdivision of 1 (One) Equity Share of the company having Face Value of Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten) each fully paid up into 10 (Ten) Equity Shares value having face value of Rs. 1/-(Rupees One) each fully paid up. 2. For issue of Bonus Equity Shares of the Company in the ratio (1:2) (One bonus equity shares of Rs. 1/- each fully paid up- for every two existing equity shares of Rs. 1/- each fully paid up."
