3 Tata Companies To Soon Pay Dividend Between 207-605%

Its dividend paying season and likewise 3 of the Tata group companies after going ex-dividend will soon be paying and crediting dividend in eligible shareholders' account.

The FMCG company is a large cap entity engaged in the trading, production and distribution of tea, coffee and water. Consolidated EBITDA for the March quarter at Rs 458 crore grew by 45% and for the full year at Rs 1749 crore grew by 11%. The Group Net Profit for the quarter has been at Rs 239 crore and for the full year Rs 1,015 crore.

On the dividend front, the company's filing dated May 4, 2022 said, "The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 6.05/- per equity share of Re. 1 each (605%), for the financial year 2021-22. The Dividend, if approved by the members at the ensuing Annual General Meeting ("AGM"), will be paid/dispatched (subject to deduction of tax at source) after the AGM and within 30 days of its
declaration".

Tata Communications

The mid cap Tata group company is a digital ecosystem enabler that powers today's fast-growing digital economy. In the Q4 quarter, the company posted strong set of numbers with PAT rising 18.5% YoY. Fy22 PAT has been at Rs. 1482 crore. Along side the company also declared Rs. 20.7 per share.

 

Voltas

The consumer durable firm of the Tata group logged a 23.46% fall in its net profit YoY to Rs. 182.71 crore as against Rs. 238.72 crore a year ago.

The air conditioning and engineering services company reported a 23.46 per cent fall in its net profit at Rs 182.71 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2022 against a net profit of Rs 238.72 crore in the January-March quarter last fiscal.

Total income came at Rs 2,703.78 crore in Q4, marginally up 0.76 per cent against Rs 2,683.24 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal. Total expenses rose 3.73 per cent at Rs 2,427.53 crore in the fourth quarter of FY22 against Rs 2,340.22 crore in the year-ago period.

"The Directors have recommended Dividend of Rs .5.50 per share on face value of Re.l per share (550%) for the year 2021-22 which sha ll be subject to approval of shareholders at the ensuing 68 1h Annual General Meeting of the Company", said the release.
