4 large-cap companies have declared high dividends of nearly 2200% in the week starting from May 2 till May 5. These stocks are Tata Steel Limited, Hero Motocorp Limited, Adani Enterprise, and HDFC. All these companies intimated about their interim dividends or final dividends through the securities exchange filings. Given below are the details of each.

Tata Steel Limited
The directors of Tata Steel Limited recommended a dividend of Rs 3.60 per Ordinary (Equity) Share of Rs 1/- each (360 per cent) to the shareholders of the company for FY2022-23. The dividend, if approved by the shareholders at the annual general meeting, will be paid, subject to deduction of tax at source, on and from Monday, July 10, 2023. The company announced the closure of the register of members and share transfer books of the company from Friday, June 23, 2023, to Wednesday, July 5, 2023 (both days inclusive) for taking record of the Members of the Company for payment of dividends.
Hero Motocorp Limited
Hero Motorcorp Limited in its board meeting approved paying a final dividend at the rate of Rs 35 (1750 per cent) per equity share of face value Rs 2 each, for the financial year ending in March 2023. To pay the dividend the company has set a book closure period beginning from Friday, July 28, 2023, to Wednesday, August 09, 2023, both days inclusive, for identifying the list of members eligible for the payment of dividend.
Adani Enterprises Limited
The board of directors of Adani Enterprises Limited approved the dividend of Rs 1.20 (120 per cent) per equity share of the face value of Re 1 each fully paid up for the Financial Year 2022- 23, This interim dividend will be paid by Friday, July 07, 2023, set as the record date.
HDFC
HDFC has recommended a final dividend of Rs 44 (2200 per cent) per equity share of face value Rs 2 each. The company has fixed May 16, 2023, as the record date for determining the entitlement of the members to the final dividend for the financial year ending March 31, 2023. The dividend will be paid by Thursday, June 1, 2023 onwards
