5 Stocks That Shall Turn Ex-Dividend Next Week

Investing in dividend stocks is a fantastic way to mitigate inflation and develop wealth over time thanks to compounding, allowing you to meet your passive income demands. However, one should seek companies with a strong track record of delivering high dividend yields, and a company's balance sheet and other financial records would assist an investor to determine the company's dividend payment history. When it comes to dividend payments, one should take into account the record date and ex-date. The record date is the day on which you must be on the company's books of record as a shareholder in order to receive the dividend. If you purchase a stock on or after the ex-dividend date or ex-date which is one business day before the record date, you will not be eligible to receive the dividend payout. So, in the first week of May, here are the five stocks to watch today that will go ex-dividend next week.
