Good potential
Among these stocks much of an upside is seen in Praj Industries. One of the top reasons for that GST rates on Ethanol were reduced that are meant for blending under Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme. The reduction has been from 18% to 5%. Much of the movement of these stocks would also depend on market conditions. Overall should the market conditions be good some of these stocks could do well in 2023 and beyond. Apart from the above, the brokerage firm also visited the plant of SRF, where it does not have a rating. Was for SRF, the brokerage said, "We are of the view that strong cash flows led by chemicals business profitability along with healthy performance from packaging & technical textile segments, will aid self-funded growth capex of ~Rs.90bn over FY23-25E. SRF's earnings mix will improve with rising Chemicals EBIT contribution from ~49% in FY22 to >60% by FY25E. The stock trades at 28x/24x FY24E/25E consensus EPS. We currently do not have a rating on the stock," Prabhudas Lilladher said in its report.
