It's been a great week for the markets in India, with some short-covering rally seen on Thursday and buying support lent by domestic institutions on Friday. In fact, the net buying from domestic institutions were a solid Rs 2479 crores in the cash segment on Friday.

Study the fundamentals as well before buying debt free stocks

Markets to see support at lower levels

According to Yes Securities, the US markets have been consolidating above support zone, while Dollar index, after having failed to sustain higher levels, reverted to levels of 102 on the
downside. In the March series the Nifty lost 2.5%, down for the straight fourth series. We believe that the markets would continue to trend higher on account of the huge cash pile that mutual funds are sitting on. Inflows into SIPs continues and this could lend some support to the markets going forward. However, investors should hold stocks for the long-term as volatility can be extremely high in the medium to short term.
